How we compiled this
Every price, coverage note and match rate here is what the vendor publishes about itself, linked and checked on 3 November 2026 from a UK browser. Prices change and can differ by currency and region, so confirm them on the vendor's page. We have not tested these tools side by side, and match rates are the vendors' own claims, not our measurements.
A disclosure: Artiweave is building company-level visitor identification, so we have an interest in this market. It is not live yet, and we have kept it out of the rankings.
This page is part of our guide to website visitor identification. If you are new to the topic, start with how IP-to-company lookup works; and before switching any tool on, read is website visitor identification legal under UK GDPR?
What a small B2B team actually needs
A team of one to five marketers, with somewhere between a few thousand and a hundred thousand visits a month, has different needs from an enterprise sales floor. Before comparing tools, agree what matters:
- Company level, not person level. For UK and EU visitors, company-level identification is the practical option; the person-level tools below do not offer that feature for European visitors (RB2B says it is US-only; Warmly says it does not do person-level identification in Europe).
- Pricing you can predict. Most tools charge by identified companies a month. Estimate your volume first: a site with 10,000 visits a month will not identify 10,000 companies.
- UK and European data. Vendors' data is usually best where most of their customers are. Ask for match rates on UK traffic specifically.
- A CRM connection. Results that never reach HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce rarely get acted on.
- Data protection paperwork. A clear statement of the vendor's role (processor or controller), where data is hosted, and whether the script needs cookie consent.
- A real trial. Two weeks on your own traffic tells you more than any published rate.
The tools at a glance
Prices are the lowest published entry point, as shown on each vendor's pricing page on 3 November 2026. "Billed annually" prices are per month.
| Tool | Published entry price | Free plan or trial | Identifies | UK and EU notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leadfeeder | Free (Lite); paid from €79 a month billed annually¹ | Free plan; 14-day trial | Companies by default | European company (Germany and Finland offices)³ |
| Leadinfo | From £57 a month billed annually, or £83 monthly (€69 or €99)⁵ | 14-day trial, no card | Companies, plus decision-maker contacts | Based in the Netherlands⁷ |
| Snitcher | From $49 a month billed annually, or $79 monthly⁹ | 14-day trial, no card | Companies | Hosted on AWS in Frankfurt¹⁰ |
| Albacross | From €59 a month billed yearly¹¹ | 14-day trial, no free plan | Companies, with contact data from Cognism | Hosting location not published |
| HubSpot Buyer Intent | Uses HubSpot credits; rates not stated on the pages cited¹⁵ | Up to 20 companies per view without credits¹⁶ | Companies | Part of HubSpot |
| RB2B | Free; paid from $79 a month¹³ | Free plan; 7-day trial | People (US only) and companies | Person-level ID is US-only¹⁴ |
| Warmly | From $10,000 a year¹⁷ | Not published | Contacts and companies | No person-level identification in Europe¹⁸ |
| Artiweave | Coming; not yet available | Private beta waitlist | Companies (planned) | UK first |
Match-rate claims, attributed
Every vendor publishes its identification rate differently, and none of the figures below comes with a full method. Treat them as each vendor's claim about its own product, and test on your traffic. Our guide to why match rates vary explains why the same tool scores differently on different sites.
| Vendor | What the vendor says | Method published? |
|---|---|---|
| Leadfeeder | "identifies up to 45% of your B2B visitors on a company-level"² | No |
| Leadinfo | Identified companies are "roughly 30% of your website visitors"⁵ | No |
| Snitcher | Claims "the highest identification rates in the industry", with no figure⁹ | No |
| Albacross | "#1 identification rates in the EU", and an identification rate "1.7X higher than most intent data platforms" in customer tests¹² | No |
| RB2B | 70% to 80% of traffic with person-level and company-level combined; 30% to 40% at person level, US only¹⁴ | No |
| Warmly | Company identification "around 60%" and contact identification "around 45%"¹⁸; a separate 2026 post gives about 65% at company level for mostly US traffic and 20% to 40% for international traffic¹⁹ | Partly: production data across its customers |
| HubSpot | No match rate published on the pages cited | Not applicable |
The tools in more detail
Leadfeeder (formerly Dealfront)
Leadfeeder merged with Echobot in 2022, the combined company became Dealfront in April 2023, and in March 2026 it unified its brands under the Leadfeeder name again³. Its pricing page lists a free Lite plan showing the last 100 companies a month with a 7-day visitor history, then Discover from €79, Activate from €369 and Scale from €599 a month billed annually, with the tier "based on how many companies we identify monthly"¹. It says it shows companies, not individuals, by default, and it integrates with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Slack among others². Its help centre describes the tracking script as matching each visit's IP address against company databases, with first-party cookies and optional IP anonymisation⁴.
Good fit if you want to start free and see whether identification is useful at all before paying. Less suited if you need more than a week of history without paying, since the free plan keeps seven days.
Leadinfo
Leadinfo is based in Capelle aan den IJssel in the Netherlands⁷. Its pricing page shows Starter from £57 a month billed annually (£83 billed monthly) for up to 50 identified companies, Scale from £132 and Pro from £298, with a 14-day trial and no card needed⁵. Beyond company identification it offers contact details for decision-makers at the visiting company⁶. Its pricing FAQ states that it relies on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) and that IP addresses are not saved⁵. In January 2026 Leadinfo acquired Visitor Queue, a Canadian visitor identification tool⁸.
Good fit if you want a European tool that prices in pounds and includes contact data. Less suited if you want company-level data only and would rather not hold contact details you have not collected yourself.
Snitcher
Snitcher prices by unique companies identified a month: from $49 a month billed annually ($79 billed monthly) for up to 50 company IDs, rising in bands to $529 for 4,001 to 5,000 on annual billing, with a 14-day trial⁹. Its GDPR article says it identifies "companies, not people", relies on legitimate interests, hosts data on AWS in Frankfurt, and sets one first-party cookie that lasts a year¹⁰. That cookie is worth raising with your adviser in the light of PECR.
Good fit if you want low entry pricing and clear statements on EU hosting. Less suited if you want prices in pounds: the page shows dollars.
Albacross
Albacross lists Starter from €59 a month and Professional from €149 a month, both billed yearly, with larger plans on request and a 14-day trial but no free plan¹¹. Its GDPR FAQ is unusually direct about cookies: it says you must get valid consent from visitors to set and read its cookies, and that its contact data partner is Cognism²⁰. Its site footer names Albacross Nordic AB¹².
Good fit if you sell mainly into continental Europe and value a vendor that is plain about consent. Less suited if you want a free tier to start with.
HubSpot's built-in tool, and what happened to Clearbit
HubSpot's company-level tool is now called Buyer Intent. HubSpot describes the older Website Visits tool (formerly Prospects) as legacy, with roadmap investment paused, and says Buyer Intent identifies the company behind a visit, not the individual¹⁵. It needs the HubSpot tracking code, viewing more than 20 companies per view requires HubSpot credits, and HubSpot notes you may need a cookie consent banner¹⁶. Adding and tracking companies consumes credits; the credit rates are not given on the pages we cite, so check your own account.
Clearbit's free Weekly Visitor Report was sunset on 30 April 2025. Clearbit pointed users to Breeze Intelligence's buyer intent feature as the replacement²¹. We could not find an official current statement on Clearbit Reveal, so we have left it out.
Good fit if HubSpot is already your CRM: no new vendor, no new contract. Less suited if you are not on HubSpot, or need predictable pricing before you know your volumes.
RB2B
RB2B is built around person-level identification in the US. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 150 monthly resolutions and no person-level identification, Starter at $79 a month, Pro from $149 and Pro+ from $199¹³. Its FAQ states that "Person-Level ID is US-only technology with a US-only database", that company-level identification is global through a partnership with Demandbase, that you must use a consent tool if you deploy global company-level identification, and that it uses first- and third-party cookies, device IDs and IP addresses¹⁴.
Good fit if a large share of your traffic is from the US. Less suited if your audience is mainly in the UK and EU, where the person-level feature does not apply.
Warmly
Warmly sells identification alongside chat and inbound automation products, priced from $10,000 a year for its web de-anonymisation product¹⁷. Its help centre says non-US traffic may have lower identification rates and lists "no personal-level anonymization in Europe" among its privacy measures¹⁸.
Good fit if you have a sales team, a US audience and budget for a broader platform. Less suited if you are a small UK marketing team testing identification for the first time.
Artiweave (coming)
Artiweave continuously improves the website a B2B company already has, with every change approved by a marketer and measured honestly, including when a result is inconclusive. Company-level visitor identification is coming to it, UK first. It is not available yet, and we will publish our own match rates only once we can measure them on real traffic.
How to choose in two weeks
- Pick two tools from the table that fit your CRM and budget. If you use HubSpot, make Buyer Intent one of them.
- Do the legal groundwork first: lawful basis, consent where needed, privacy notice. Our UK GDPR explainer lists the steps.
- Run both on the same days, so differences come from the data, not the traffic.
- Seed known visits from colleagues and friendly customers on office, home and mobile connections, and note which are named correctly.
- Sample twenty matches from each tool and check whether they are plausible for your audience.
- Count what you would act on. The useful number is not the match rate but the companies worth a follow-up each week.
For the set-up itself, see how to see which companies visit your website. If you are moving away from Leadfeeder specifically, our Leadfeeder alternatives page compares the options from that starting point.
Frequently asked questions
Is there free visitor identification software?
Yes. Leadfeeder's Lite plan is free and shows the last 100 companies a month with seven days of history, and RB2B has a free plan with 150 resolutions a month without person-level identification. HubSpot users can see up to 20 companies per Buyer Intent view without credits. Clearbit's free Weekly Visitor Report closed on 30 April 2025.
Can these tools identify individual visitors in the UK?
The tools on this page that offer person-level identification say it is limited to the US: RB2B describes it as US-only, and Warmly says it does not do person-level identification in Europe. For UK visitors, expect company-level results.
Which tool has the best match rate?
No one can say from published figures, because each vendor measures differently and none publishes a full method. The rate also depends on your traffic. Run two tools on the same days and compare the matches you would actually act on.
Do I need cookie consent for these tools?
Often, yes. Albacross and RB2B say consent is needed in some set-ups, HubSpot says a banner may be needed, and the ICO says the new PECR analytics exception does not cover tracking visitors by IP address. Take advice on your own set-up.
